J.P. Fine is founder and principal of Rubicon Real Estate, LLC; a development and management company based in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Mr. Fine’s primary responsibilities include acquisitions and managing day-to-day operations of the company and its properties.
In September of 1999, after working in the finance and acquisitions department of The Grossman Companies, Inc., Mr. Fine purchased and redeveloped Gateway Plaza, a shopping center located in Randolph, Massachusetts. Since then, utilizing a strategy of adding value through repositioning and long term capital appreciation, he has steadily grown the portfolio by acquiring retail and mixed use properties with existing income. Mr. Fine founded Rubicon Real Estate LLC in 2002 in order to manage, lease and redevelop the growing portfolio of properties.
Mr. Fine is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He graduated from The University of Vermont.
Paul M. Bernon is a principal of Rubicon Real Estate, LLC; Mr. Bernon’s primary responsibilities include acquisitions, marketing, and business development.
Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Bernon worked as a project manager for Intercontinental Real Estate Companies. At Intercontinental, Mr. Bernon was responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing of their residential properties and assisting with institutional requests for proposals.
Mr. Bernon is a member of the InternationalCouncil of Shopping Centers. Mr. Bernon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University’s College of Communication and earned a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University.
Kristin Lindstrom is the Director of Operations for Rubicon Real Estate, LLC. She is responsible for overseeing Rubicon operations, including the maintenance and performance of the company operational team. Her efforts in building, supporting and assisting company staff ensure that Rubicon properties are well-managed and maintained.
Ms. Lindstrom recently returned to Rubicon in the fall of 2021 after working as a Project Manager at BTS, (formerly Bates Communications). She previously worked in operations at Wellcoaches Corporation, as an Executive Administrator at Kiodex, a Sunguard Company and as an EA on the Commodities Trading desk at Credit Suisse.
Ms. Lindstrom was a Dance Major at the University of Minnesota and traveled nationally and internationally with a Minneapolis based dance company.
Stephanie Dunbar is the Director of Property and Asset Management at Rubicon Real Estate, LLC. She has 24 years of experience in the daily operations of retail, mixed use, office and life science properties. Her responsibilities include day to day operations, permitting, value add initiatives, short and long term lease negotiations, preparation and oversight of annual operating and capital budgets, financial reporting and tenant relations.
Prior to joining, Ms. Dunbar was responsible for the oversight of redevelopment on multiple office, mixed use, lab conversion and retail shopping centers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
Ms. Dunbar held property and asset management positions with the following organizations: Jamestown, Longfellow, Brixmor Property Group, KeyPoint Partners and Samuels Associates.
